REVIEWS

A timely, important, gorgeous book. Challenging in its issues and a real tear jerker as well.
Joanna Nadin

This is a gorgeous story about secrets and truth, about authority and corruption of power, about our relationships with nature and the wild and the people around us, about our responsibilities and our memories.
The Bookwormhole

Day of the Whale is incredible! It has absolutely everything I would want in a book. Adventure, secrets, peril, environmental issues and wonderful characters.
Raising Readers

This book is brilliant in plot, characters and setting. Some familiarity with Australia is certainly present but the people are led to believe they are the sole survivors of the great floods. They also believe their island to be small.
